What motivated you to create a planned gift for Peddie? 

"When the One Peddie campaign started, I was excited and motivated. And that feeling of wanting to help Peddie in the most generous way possible was shared by Mitch, my husband. As the campaign took shape, it became even more important to us. The emphasis on financial aid and access and, later, the splendid new music/arts building was compelling to us. 

"We’re retired and a bit nervous watching the market ebb and flow, so we decided the smartest gift for us was a cash gift over five years complemented by a planned gift, a bequest. We held a meeting with our kids before we established a planned gift for Peddie. It turned out to be a wonderful, enlightening discussion. Now, they’re as excited and proud as we are about our bequest.
