Nyjah Smarr ’22 

A force in the classroom as well as in athletics, Nyjah Smarr ’22 is a recipient of The Maurice and Eleanor Shuman Scholarship Fund. Her teachers call her "motivated, passionate and enthusiastic," "an absolute joy to teach" and "a true rock star.” She is on the varsity track, soccer and lacrosse teams and is a member of the Black Student Union. 

The Shuman Scholarship makes it possible for Peddie to enroll talented, exciting students like Nyjah.
