CHARLIE ASCHER ’52
In August, the Peddie community was saddened to hear of the passing of Charlie Ascher ’52. Charlie was a resident of Meadow Lakes, the retirement community across the street from campus, which made it easy for him to stay in close contact with Peddie.
As an active Peddie volunteer, Charlie frequently attended school events, both on and off campus. He was always eager to share new and creative ways to make people feel more connected to Peddie.
Charlie was an outstanding class secretary for the class of 1952 and an inaugural member of the Peddie Leadership Council. He was also an enthusiastic volunteer for our planned giving program, including being a longtime member of the Bell Society and serving as Volunteer Chair of the Bell Society.
We fondly remember Charlie and his many contributions to Peddie.
